Industrial Infra-red Muffle Heaters and Linear Heaters

 

 

Infra-red linear heating is simple, energy efficient and extremely fast. Product that is continuous, long and thin such as pipe or cord heats as it passes the infra-red heat source.  The high watts density of the heater means that product can sometimes be heated within a second!

Infra-red heating is simple, energy efficient and flexible. The product is heated directly by energy radiated from a high temperature emitter without the need to heat up large amounts of air. Within a muffle enclosure, the radiated heat has nowhere to go other than into the product. This creates an exceptionally efficient and rapid means of heating, with product temperatures of up to 1000C achievable in just a few minutes.

Applications

Infra-red muffle and linear heaters can be tailor made to suit many applications. The power density and orientation of the infra-red elements within each heater unit can be designed for individual applications. Infra-red muffle heaters are ideal where high temperatures and very rapid heat-up times are required, including pipe or tube heating and processing of yarns or tapes.
