Short-wave Infra-red Industrial Process Heating
Short-wave infra-red (radiant) heating is simple, energy efficient and flexible. The product is heated directly by energy radiated from a high temperature emitter without the need to heat up large amounts of air.
This brings many benefits:
Short-wave infra-red is provided by quartz-halogen lamps with fine tungsten filaments at a temperature of around 2500°C. The many benefits that can be enjoyed by using short-wave infra-red include:
